In August 2022, the game Stray created by BlueTwelve took the internet by storm, instantly becoming a sensation on Twitter. You’ve probably come across some adorable videos of people playing this cat adventure game alongside their real-life feline companions.

Stray, released last year, was highly acclaimed and received numerous accolades, including Best Indie and Best Debut Indie at the Game Awards. It’s no surprise why – the game is truly exceptional and heartwarming, and we were captivated by it too. However, despite its widespread popularity, not everyone had the opportunity to play Stray upon its release.

Stray On Xbox: Release Date

After being exclusive to PS4, PS5, and PC (on Steam) since its launch, Stray has now been confirmed for Xbox. This means that Xbox and Switch players, who were previously unable to enjoy the charming cat game, can now look forward to experiencing it.

On June 29, Annapurna Interactive, the publisher, hosted a showcase where they made an exciting announcement. Our long wait finally came to an end as they confirmed the release of Stray on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, scheduled for August 10.

Stray, the newly released game, appears to be exclusively available for purchase on the official Xbox online store for Xbox gamers. Currently, there is a discounted price of $23.99, but this offer will expire on Thursday, coinciding with the game’s official release. Once the discount ends, the price will increase to $29.99. Stray On Xbox Game Pass Remains Uncertain

Regrettably, there is currently no information indicating that Stray will be included in Xbox Game Pass.
