Marvel’s Midnight Suns places great emphasis on fostering camaraderie among the superheroes on your team. By nurturing relationships with each member of your esteemed squad, you can enhance their friendship level and in turn, reap substantial rewards for both yourself and your superhero companions. These rewards encompass a wide range of benefits, including various skins, passive abilities, active skills, and even upgrades for the Abbey. Moreover, to fully unlock their iconic Midnight Suns outfit and unleash their unique special ability, it is imperative to reach the maximum friendship level with each hero.

Being kind to Nico, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and the rest of the heroes in their superhero attire is truly worthwhile. To achieve this, consider taking various heroes along on missions to earn friendship XP. However, the most effective way to strengthen your bond is by selecting the appropriate gifts and arranging suitable hangouts for each individual.

In Midnight Suns, each hero possesses unique preferences that impact the number of friendship points obtained from gifts and activities. Thus, you can’t simply engage in stargazing with Blade and present him with a coloring book, as it won’t yield significant progress.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns: The Perfect Gifts For Each Hero

Gifts in Midnight Suns are small tokens that can be presented to a teammate after spending time together. These gifts can range from books and snacks to candles or any other item. The crucial aspect lies in selecting the perfect gift for each individual, as it greatly enhances the friendship XP between you both.

This rule only applies to specific kinds of presents. If you were to give Spider-Man, who has a playful nature, a skull or goblet, he would surely give you a puzzled look. On the other hand, Magik, who tends to have a gloomy disposition, would actually appreciate those items. Finding the perfect combination of person and gift becomes crucial when it comes to legendary presents, as they have the power to forge instant friendships.

How To Get Gifts In Marvel’s Midnight Suns

In order to obtain these incredible gifts, you must first locate them. There are two methods to acquire new gifts within the game. The initial approach involves simply picking them up while exploring the Abbey. Certain items can be found within the main building or the yard, while others are scattered throughout the vast grounds, which can be explored in between missions.

Another option is to purchase gifts from the gift shop, which becomes accessible once your team friendship level reaches level 2. Each day, a fresh assortment of gifts will be available for purchase using Gloss. As your friendship level continues to rise, the quality of the gifts will also improve.

Following each mission, you will have the opportunity to spend time with a hero of your choosing. However, it’s important to note that not all activities are equally enjoyable for every hero. Therefore, it is advisable to verify the available options for each hero and select the most suitable activities for them.

The amount of friendship XP you receive will vary based on the hero’s affection towards the activity you select. If the hero loves the activity, you will gain (+7) friendship XP, while if they simply like it, you will earn (+5) friendship XP. However, if the hero dislikes the activity, you will not receive any friendship XP (0).

Not only can you spend time with your beloved heroes after missions, but you can also extend invitations to havens. Havens are unique hangouts that become accessible as you explore the Abbey. However, it’s important to note that each haven can only be used once throughout the game, and you can only invite each hero to a haven once.

After extending an invitation to a hero, a selection of available options will appear for you to choose from. Each option is accompanied by a symbol indicating the specific activity you will undertake with heroes like Wolverine. Havens provide twice the amount of friendship XP compared to regular hangouts, hence it is crucial to select the suitable activity for each hero.
