Years after, Brinkman’s son made the choice to enlist in the Apex battle, much to his father’s dismay as he caught wind of the news on TV. In a swift move, he rushed to Octane’s grandfather, Torres Silva, and held him at gunpoint, utilizing this leverage to convey a threat. Silva, being the orchestrator of the Apex games, was now faced with a compelling ultimatum from Ballistic. Ballistic expressed his desire to personally enter the battlefield and take the place of his own son.

Silva appeared to possess a deep understanding of Ballistic as he maintained his composure in the face of imminent danger, calmly addressing his old acquaintance, “So, what exactly do you seek from me in this situation?”

In the final scene, he is seen returning to the Apex arena while leaving his son behind.
