When Is Warzone 2 Updated?

Similar to the previous games MW2019, BOCW, and Vanguard, Warzone 2 will receive weekly balancing patches on Wednesdays at 9am PT (12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST). Additionally, smaller “hot patches” will be deployed whenever major bugs arise, while seasonal updates will be released every few months.

Weapons

“Battle Rifles”

  • Cronen Squall Close Damage has been decreased, along with the Neck Damage Multiplier and Upper Torso Multiplier.

“Light Machine Guns”

  • The Close Damage of RPK has been reduced, while the Close Damage Range has been extended. Additionally, the Head Damage Multiplier has been raised, but the Neck Damage Multiplier has been lowered. The Torso Damage Multipliers and Limb Damage Multipliers have also been decreased.

Gameplay

  • Precision Airstrikes in Armored Royale no longer have the ability to destroy MRAPs with a single shot, resulting in a reduction of their damage.

Bug Fixes

General

  • Numerous problems that led to inaccurate or missing information when using COD Caster have been resolved.
  • Addressed a problem on Vondel that had the potential to result in packet bursts and adversely affect game performance.
  • The issue of multiple objects floating in the air at Zaya Observatory has been resolved.
  • Addressed a problem at Zaya Observatory where a building’s collision was occasionally absent, thereby preventing an exploit.

Battle Royale

  • Addressed a problem where an erroneous “Vehicle Under Attack” alert would pop up when the squad’s MRAP in Armored Royale mode experienced fall damage.
  • Corrected a bug that may have caused the respawn UI to not display properly in Armored Royale.
  • We have addressed a problem in Armored Royale Quads where if a teammate left, it would not decrease the Resurgence respawn timer for the remaining team members.
  • The issue of Armor Plates not resetting from the Pre-Game Lobby once the match started in Armored Royale has been fixed.
  • Resolved a problem that caused the Player to be forcefully redirected to the main menu when attempting to access the Calling Card or Emblem sections within the Customize tab.
  • Addressed a bug that led to Safecracker Contract safes appearing within obstacles at Zaya Observatory in Battle Royale.
  • Addressed a problem where Players were able to access the Sarrif Bay Black Site in Battle Royale mode without the required key.
  • Addressed a problem in Armored Royale where the prompt to “Use Turret” on the MRAP vehicle had an excessively long range, causing interference or complete hindrance to interactions with Buy Stations and the repair of rear tires.
  • The problem with the “Rotation Battle Royale” Quads Playlist, where a placeholder game mode was displayed, has been resolved.
  • An issue has been resolved in Armored Royale, where Operators were able to overlap with each other upon entering and leaving the MRAP turret.

DMZ

  • An issue was resolved where a SAM site located at Zaya Observatory had the tendency to appear partly inside a nearby bus in the DMZ.
  • An issue has been resolved concerning the inability to loot a gas canister located in the bunker beneath Zaya Observatory within the DMZ.
  • Resolved a bug that caused the Player to be redirected to the DMZ main menu when attempting to view a weapon’s progression through the insured weapon slot and selecting “View Weapon”.
  • Addressed a problem in which the Faction Mission named “Bounty” fails to accurately track the execution of the Player with the Bounty in the DMZ.
  • Addressed a problem where Players were able to unintentionally remove Backpack slots by utilizing the stow feature while collecting a cache in the DMZ.
  • I addressed a problem in DMZ where players were able to simultaneously activate both Tier 3 and 4 of the Upgrades, even though the Tier 4 Upgrades could not be fully completed.
