Survivor, released in late April, has been highly anticipated as one of the biggest games of 2023. It builds upon the captivating story and triumph of Fallen Order, pushing the series into uncharted territories. As a player, you will have the opportunity to embark on an epic journey across numerous planets and live the life of an authentic Jedi – that is, if you manage to get your hands on the game.

There are numerous fans in the community who are currently enjoying Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. However, there is a growing concern among those who do not own a next-gen console or a powerful PC, particularly Nintendo Switch players. They are curious to know if they will ever have the opportunity to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in the coming future. This guide aims to address all the important questions regarding the possibility of Jedi: Survivor being available on the Nintendo Switch.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor On Nintendo Switch: Release Unlikely

Regrettably, Nintendo enthusiasts will be disappointed to learn that the creators of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor currently have no intentions of transferring the game to the Switch. This decision primarily arises from the game’s original development for the newer consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game makes use of advanced graphics and gameplay features that are primarily available on modern consoles and PCs. This is why the game will not be released on older consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One. Typically, when games are exclusive to modern systems, the Nintendo Switch is often not included.

Jedi: Survivor’s chances of being released on Nintendo Switch are even more remote due to the absence of its prequel, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, on Nintendo’s handheld console. Despite Fallen Order’s immense popularity and the Star Wars franchise’s consistent track record of success, Nintendo’s inability to secure its availability on Switch suggests that technical constraints may have been the hindrance preventing its inclusion.

Despite the absence of official confirmation from any sources, the likelihood of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor functioning smoothly on the Switch appears highly uncertain. If the game were to be released on a Nintendo console, it would probably be on the Nintendo Switch 2, although Nintendo has not yet made any official announcements regarding its next console generation.

You can find Star Wars: Jedi Survivor on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
