When Is Warzone 2 Updated?

Similar to MW2019, BOCW, and Vanguard, Warzone 2 will consistently receive weekly balancing patches on Wednesdays at 9am PT (12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST). Additionally, smaller “hot patches” will be deployed as needed to address significant bugs, while seasonal updates will be released every few months.

Weapons

“Battle Rifles”

  • Cronen Squall Close Damage has been reduced, along with a decrease in the Neck Damage Multiplier and the Upper Torso Multiplier.

“Light Machine Guns: A Comprehensive Guide”

  • The Close Damage of RPK has been reduced, while its Close Damage Range has been increased. Additionally, the Head Damage Multiplier has been increased, but the Neck Damage Multiplier has been decreased. Moreover, the Torso Damage Multipliers and Limb Damage Multipliers have also been decreased.

Gameplay

  • Reduced Precision Airstrike damage on MRAPs now ensures their survival in Armored Royale, as they can no longer be destroyed with a single shot.

Bug Fixes

General

  • Various issues causing incorrect or missing information while using COD Caster have been addressed and resolved.
  • Addressed a problem on Vondel that had the potential to result in packet bursts and consequently hinder game performance.
  • Addressed the problem at Zaya Observatory where several objects were prone to levitation in mid-air.
  • Resolved a problem that had the potential to result in the absence of collision detection on a structure located at Zaya Observatory, thereby preventing any exploitative actions.

Battle Royale

  • Addressed a problem where an erroneous “Vehicle Under Attack” alert would occur when the squad’s MRAP sustains fall damage in Armored Royale mode.”
  • Addressed a bug that may have hindered the proper display of the respawn user interface in Armored Royale mode.
  • Addressed a problem in Armored Royale Quads where the Resurgence respawn timer for the remaining team members would not be reduced when a teammate left.
  • The problem of Armor Plates not resetting from the Pre-Game Lobby in Armored Royale once the match had begun has been resolved.
  • The issue of being kicked back to the main menu when attempting to access the Calling Card or Emblem sections in the Customize tab has been resolved.
  • Resolved a problem where Safecracker Contract safes had the potential to spawn within obstructing objects at Zaya Observatory in Battle Royale.
  • Addressed a problem where Players were able to access the Sarrif Bay Black Site in Battle Royale without the required key.
  • The problem with the MRAP’s “Use Turret” prompt, which was causing interference or blocking interactions with Buy Stations and rear tire repairs in Armored Royale, has been resolved.
  • Resolved a problem where the “Rotation Battle Royale” Quads Playlist displayed a temporary game mode.
  • An issue has been resolved in Armored Royale where Operators were able to overlap with each other upon entering and exiting the MRAP turret.

DMZ

  • Addressed a problem where a SAM site located at Zaya Observatory could erroneously spawn in a position that overlaps with a nearby bus in the DMZ.
  • The problem of being unable to loot a gas canister in the bunker beneath Zaya Observatory has been resolved in the DMZ.
  • Resolved a problem where, if the player attempted to view a weapon’s progression by accessing the insured weapon slot and then selecting “View Weapon,” they would be unexpectedly redirected back to the DMZ main menu.
  • Addressed a bug in the game that caused the Faction Mission “Bounty” to have incorrect tracking when a player eliminates the targeted player with the bounty in the demilitarized zone (DMZ).
  • The issue where Players were able to delete Backpack slots by using the stow function while looting a cache in DMZ has been resolved.
  • An issue in DMZ has been resolved where players were able to activate both Tier 3 and 4 Upgrades at the same time, while the Tier 4 Upgrades could not be fully completed.
