When Is Warzone 2 Updated?

Similar to previous titles like MW2019, BOCW, and Vanguard, Warzone 2 will still receive regular balancing patches every Wednesday at 9am PT (12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST). Weapons

“Battle Rifles”

  • Decreased damage to the Cronen Squall Close range weapon. Decreased damage multiplier for neck shots. Decreased damage multiplier for upper torso shots.

“Machine Guns of Illumination”

  • The RPK’s close damage has been reduced, but its close damage range has been expanded. Additionally, the head damage multiplier has been increased, while the neck damage multiplier has been lowered. The torso damage multipliers and limb damage multipliers have both been decreased.

Gameplay

  • In Armored Royale, the damage inflicted by Precision Airstrikes on MRAPs has been reduced, ensuring that they no longer get destroyed with a single shot.

Bug Fixes

General

  • Addressed several issues that resulted in inaccurate or missing information when utilizing COD Caster.
  • Addressed a problem on Vondel that could lead to packet bursts and negatively impact game performance.

  • We have resolved a problem in Armored Royale Quads where if a teammate left, it would not reduce the Resurgence respawn timer for the remaining team members.
  • The problem of Armor Plates not resetting from the Pre-Game Lobby in Armored Royale has been resolved.
  • Resolved a problem that caused the Player to be redirected to the main menu when attempting to access the Customize tab’s Calling Card or Emblem sections.
  • Addressed a problem where Safecracker Contract safes had the potential to appear within obstacles at Zaya Observatory in Battle Royale, resulting in their inaccessibility.
  • The issue that permitted Players to access the Sarrif Bay Black Site in Battle Royale without a key has been resolved.

  • An issue was resolved where a SAM site located at Zaya Observatory had the tendency to spawn in a position that overlapped with a nearby bus in the DMZ.
  • The problem of being unable to loot a gas canister in the bunker under Zaya Observatory in the DMZ has been resolved.
  • Addressed a problem where, upon attempting to view a weapon’s progression from the insured weapon slot and subsequently selecting “View Weapon,” the Player would be unexpectedly redirected to the DMZ main menu.
  • The issue with the Faction Mission “Bounty” not tracking correctly in the DMZ when a Player eliminates the designated Player with the Bounty has been resolved.
  • The problem of players being able to delete backpack slots by using the stow function while looting a cache in the DMZ has been resolved.
  • A problem in DMZ was resolved, allowing the Player to no longer have both Tier 3 & 4 of the Upgrades active at the same time. Additionally, the Tier 4 Upgrades can now be successfully completed.
