Brigitte Rework

Brigitte is undergoing a rework by Blizzard, but don’t worry, her defensive ultimate ability will remain intact. So what’s the scoop? Her armor health pool is getting a boost and her barrier is also being strengthened. Brigitte now possesses a more tank-like nature, enabling her to effectively protect her team.

  • During the duration of Rally, Brigitte’s health pool is boosted by an additional 100 armor that can be restored.
  • Brigitte’s ability to gradually accumulate temporary health among her nearby allies has been removed.
  • Rally has now enhanced her Barrier Shield, augmenting its dimensions and durability.
  • The ultimate now boosts the barrier health from 300 to 750.
  • While rallying, Shield Bash gains the ability to affect multiple enemies, briefly stunning them in the process.

Map Updates

In terms of maps, the most significant change in season 4 is the elimination of map pools. In the past, the map pool would change with each new season, but now all maps are accessible in rotation.

Hero Fixes

The list of hero fixes this time is exceptionally lengthy. I’m torn between feeling pleased that Blizzard addressed numerous issues and concerned that there were so many problems to begin with.

  • Corrected an issue where Ashe could accumulate Ultimate charge while B.O.B was in use.

Bastion

  • Resolved an issue in which certain abilities could interact with Artillery’s targeting reticle.
  • Addressed an issue where Bastion’s attack animations could falsely appear accelerated after the Kitsune Rush effects wore off, even though they were unchanged.

  • Previously resolved – Resolved an issue in a previous update where the damage inflicted by Deadeye had the potential to be multiplied if the same target was reacquired before Deadeye finished.
  • Addressed a bug that had the potential to result in Deadeye failing to hit its intended targets.

  • Resolved a problem where Seismic Slam did not consistently detect usage on an uneven surface.
