New FIFA Update: Latest Patch Notes & PC Stability Fix

Prior to delving into the newest patch notes, we would like to express our satisfaction with EA’s prompt resolution of the stability issues encountered on PC with update 17.1.

PC Version of FIFA 23 Receives Title Update #17.1, Resolving Stability Issues for Players After Previous Update

On August 17, 2023, EA SPORTS FC Direct Communication tweeted.

It appears that EA has concluded their efforts in making gameplay adjustments or cosmetic enhancements, as they now seem to be primarily focused on showcasing the Patch Notes from Title Update 16. These latest changes seem to be the final updates for FIFA 23.

Ultimate Team

Addressed the following issues:

• There were certain tifos and flags that were not being shown in the stadium.

Pro Clubs x VOLTA FOOTBALL

• On occasion, within VOLTA FOOTBALL, the controller settings may erroneously revert back to default.
• [Exclusive to PC] The VOLTA FOOTBALL game on PC had inaccurate button labels in the VOLTA Shop.

EA has officially unveiled exciting additions, such as a league system and crossplay, for their upcoming release.

Career Mode

• In certain instances, injured players may erroneously appear on the reserve list for national teams in Manager Career mode.

General, Audio, and Visual

Made the following changes:

• I made some upgrades to the boots, gloves, kits, tifos, and VIP areas.
• The player model of Nouhalia Benzina has been updated to incorporate her head covering.
• The latest update of EA Social now allows users to easily switch between Online and Offline statuses.

Once again, EA has managed to mess up, to put it mildly.

Instead of implementing an update for Benzina’s player model, EA opted to completely remove her with the latest patch. As a result, she can no longer be found in the World Cup Mode. This once again highlights the need for EA to address the patch’s issues and release a corrected version.

There are Twitter users who are expressing frustration in the comments about the lack of shoe updates. It can be quite challenging to remain patient with such situations, I must admit.
