Destiny Signs With Kick But He Has Two Conditions

Kick, a recently launched streaming platform, successfully secured a deal with Destiny. However, Destiny must adhere to two specific conditions as part of the agreement.

Once again, Kick successfully secured a lucrative deal with yet another prominent creator.

The next individual to sign with Kick is none other than Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, widely recognized as Destiny in the online world. Renowned for his thought-provoking political commentary during live sessions, Destiny has gained notoriety for his controversial perspectives, which have previously caused him issues with Twitch.

Destiny, who got indefinitely banned from Twitch in early 2022, decided to switch to streaming on YouTube. Recognizing the opportunity, Kick seized it.

If you’re part of the remaining Twitch crowd, you might find it beneficial to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. This way, you can support your favorite streamers by giving them a Prime Sub.

Destiny’s Deal With Kick Comes With Two Conditions

Destiny joined the likes of Amouranth and xQc by revealing on June 27 that he had also secured a non-exclusive agreement with Kick.

The political streamer considers the lack of exclusivity to be extremely significant, referring to it as a “saving grace” given the terms of his one-year contract.

Kick’s initial request for Destiny was to remove the stream embeds from his personal website, destiny.gg. Another condition in relation to Destiny’s website and brand was that he should display the Kick chat instead of his own DGG chat during future streams.

Destiny appears to be content with that arrangement, and the significant seven-figure sum he receives from signing with Kick certainly aids in dealing with the disappointment of losing his own brand chat.

Even when Destiny is not streaming, the DGG chat will still be available for users to utilize. Additionally, Destiny has confirmed that there will always be a secondary stream available on YouTube.

EarlyGame’s channel is not only comparable to live streaming on YouTube but potentially even superior.
