Picking the finest vehicles in Rocket League undoubtedly enhances your overall gameplay, as it provides an incredible sensation maneuvering them across the arena. Whether you’re indulging in casual matches or striving for improvement in your skills, it is crucial to carefully choose a car that perfectly matches your style.

Each body type in Rocket League has its own set of pros and cons, as they all utilize one of the game’s distinctive hitboxes. Just like in life, there is no one-size-fits-all solution that applies to every player. However, we have compiled a list of what we believe are the top 5 cars to use in Rocket League currently.

These Are The 5 Best Cars In Rocket League

Which car is considered the top choice in Rocket League? Wow, this is a challenging inquiry… with the wide range of body options available, which continues to expand each season. Although the assortment of vehicles is already extensive, it’s crucial to note that each car falls into one of six distinct categories, known as “types,” which hold significant value.

When our beloved socCar game was initially released a few years ago, each vehicle had its distinctive hitbox. However, as Psyonix continued to release new cars periodically, they eventually decided to abandon this individuality and introduced the standardized hitboxes that we are familiar with today.

However, it should be noted that certain cars on our Top 5 List share the same hitbox but still possess distinct characteristics. We intentionally excluded any unpopular or underperforming vehicles with undesirable hitboxes from our list.

5. Batmobile

In Rocket League, the Batmobile holds the status of an iconic classic and stands out as one of the most easily identifiable vehicles within the arena. Recognizing its popularity, Psyonix incorporated multiple versions of this vehicle into the game. One such version, known as the , made its debut during the rise of Robert Pattinson as The Batman.

Upon embarking on my Rocket League journey, I couldn’t help but notice that the Batmobile appeared to be somewhat pay to win. Its remarkably elongated structure grants it the ability to effortlessly intercept nearly every incoming ball.

Whether you are leisurely indulging in casual mode or ambitiously ascending the ranks, chances are you have encountered a considerable number of Batmobiles. Undeniably practical, yet equally captivating with its astonishing appearance!

4. BMW M240i

When it comes to crafting top-notch automobiles, Germans excel and stand apart from the rest. This superiority also extends to Rocket League. The German Rocket League bundle consistently ranks among the most sought-after items in the shop, requiring the expenditure of RL credits to acquire as it cannot be unlocked through other means.

Including another surprise entry (spoiler alert: there’s an additional one), the BMW M240i stands out as slightly taller compared to other cars with similar dimensions – in our personal view. For those seeking a well-rounded vehicle that excels in various aspects and remains exclusive to a select few, we highly recommend giving the BMW M240i a try!

3. Dominus

The Dominus car in Rocket League is widely regarded as one of the top choices, and it is no surprise considering it shares the name with the second most popular Hitbox in the game. Those who have spent some time playing Rocket League are well aware of the immense power behind the Dominus’ Power Shots. However, it does require some adjustment due to its wide turning radius and flat design.

However, those who need to catch up on their skills can compensate by using the Dominus. Overall, it is a very stylish Battle Car with impressive offensive abilities, although it may not be as versatile as the other two vehicles. Take a look at its in-game measurements for size comparison.

Dominus 127.9268000 83.2799500 31.3000000

2. Octane

For numerous years, the Octane has held its position as the top-tier vehicle in Rocket League, representing the epitome of excellence. Right from the beginning of this incredible game, players have had the privilege to access and experience its strengths and weaknesses firsthand.

The Octane is a remarkable all-rounder, lacking any significant weaknesses. It is incredibly reliable and user-friendly, making it the preferred choice for a majority of the community.

To certain players, the aesthetic appeal of the Octane holds even greater significance. Its sleek and immaculate design sets it apart as one of the most coveted and pricey in the game. Obtaining it is a formidable challenge, making it all the more exhilarating to behold.

Octane 118.0074000 84.1994100 36.1590700

1. Fennec

Several years ago, Barney Stinson preached the belief that “new is always better.” In the context of cars in Rocket League, this statement still holds true, especially when considering the Fennec. Essentially an enhanced and more recent iteration of the Octane, the Fennec has been further optimized by Psyonix.

While the Octane excels in terms of speed and agility, the Fennec falls short in comparison, feeling somewhat sluggish and clunky at times, resembling more of a Merc or Dominus. If your gameplay revolves around fast-paced action, the Octane would likely be the preferable option. However, overall, the Fennec remains the top choice for a car in Rocket League.

How To Unlock Cars In Rocket League

Unlocking cars in Rocket League is not a complex task, as there are typically two straightforward approaches. The first one is quite clear: you need to make a payment in order to access and enjoy the game.

The Rocket League item shop offers bundles containing iconic vehicles from other franchises or real life, such as the Batmobile and BMW M240i. The prices of these cars range from 1,000 to 2,500 RL credits, depending on their popularity and additional cosmetic features included.

By simply playing the game, you will unlock various bodies, particularly the Octane. Additionally, you have the option to purchase the Rocket Pass, which offers a fresh vehicle every season in Rocket League. These vehicles are typically obtained at level 1, allowing you to begin the new chapter on the right foot.

Most Popular Cars Among Pro Players

Despite the Fennec slightly surpassing the Octane in terms of fitting the Octane Hitbox, the Octane remains the reigning champion in the eSports realm. Since the inception of Season 1, numerous professionals have placed their trust in the original car – sticking to a successful formula. The Octane’s popularity has been so immense that Psyonix, the creators of the game, honored it with a dedicated statue in DFH Stadium.

Although there are no official statistics available, it is highly likely that the Octane is the most commonly used battle car in Rocket League. Following closely behind are the Fennec and the Dominus, which are also highly effective and capable of performing at the highest level.

Currently, these cars are regarded as the top choices for playing Rocket League. Feel free to test them out individually, at your own pace, and enjoy the game. Remember, you have the freedom to use any car body you prefer, so take it easy and maintain a positive attitude towards your teammates.
