Blizzard unveiled their latest update, named Season of the Malignant, on July 6. This exciting season takes place after completing the main campaign and introduces an entirely fresh questline for players to embark on.

Diablo 4 Season 1: Release Date And Start Time

The first season of Diablo 4, known as “The Season of the Malignant,” will commence on July 20, 2023. Although the exact launch time was not disclosed in the Blizzard livestream, you can access a countdown on the official season website.

By calculating the time zones, we arrive at a starting time of 10 am PDT, 1 pm EDT, 6 pm BST, and 7 pm CEST. You will be able to commence the Season of the Malignant at this designated time.

Please note that there may be difficulties in downloading game files or accessing the game, as a large number of Diablo 4 players will be attempting to log in at the same time as you.

Server issues or downtimes may occur, as they have in the past. If you encounter difficulties launching the game, check to see if other players are experiencing the same problems. If they are, it is likely that you will have to wait for Blizzard to resolve the issue.

Blizzard has announced that a season in Diablo 4 will last at least 12 weeks, meaning that we can anticipate the release of Diablo 4 season 2 to be sometime around October, possibly coinciding with or preceding the BlizzCon 2023 event.
