To understand Riot’s plans and the changes forthcoming on Summoner’s Rift, let’s delve into the upcoming League of Legends patch and the midseason update. This will provide us with insights into what exactly they have in store and how Summoner’s Rift will evolve with these alterations.

LoL Patch 13.10: Hotfix Released After Midseason Update

Due to the change of their core items from mythic to legendary, three champions have been affected.

 • The W ability, Spirit Cleave Shield, now provides a shield strength of 45-65 (levels 1-18) (+65% bonus AD), up from 35-55 (levels 1-18) (+55% bonus AD).

Kindred

 • Health Growth: 99 increased to 104.
 • The AD Growth has increased from 2.5 to 3.25.
 • The threshold for triggering the E – Mounting Dead ability has been revised. It will now deal damage based on the target’s maximum health, ranging from 25% to 75%, and the amount of damage scales with the champion’s crit chance.

LoL Patch 13.10: Item Updates For Midseason

Riot is implementing significant modifications to itemization. Earlier this season, they subtly indicated their dissatisfaction with the overwhelming dominance of Duskblade and Prowler’s Claw, and now they are determined to make substantial updates to these items.

In addition, Riot has announced their plans to update the bot lane items in League of Legends Season 13. This update aims to enhance player satisfaction while playing as bot laners.

Trinket Updates in Midseason Patch

Aside from the flurry of Item changes coming to League with LoL Patch 13.10, Riot is looking to change the trinkets that are currently in the game. Let’s take a look at what we can expect for the next update.

Farsight Alteration

 • Farsight’s range has been extended to 500 units, allowing vision to be granted beyond walls.
 • Enemy champions revealed on the mini map will now be pinged by Farsight.
 • When an enemy champion is initially detected, Farsight will ping their location on the minimap, increase its vision range to 800 units, and subsequently self-destruct. Please note that there will be sufficient time for the enemy to eliminate the ward in exchange for 15 gold.

Oracle Lens

 • When the owner of Oracle Lens is actively attacking a ward, their team will receive vision of the ward, enabling them to fully eliminate it. It is important to note that the team will be granted 2 seconds of vision from the last hit before Oracle Lens expires.
 • The number of charges for Oracle Lens has been increased to 2.
 • New Version:

The Recharge Time for charging the device is 120-60 seconds, which has been updated to 160-100 seconds.
 • Duration reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.

Midseason Update Summoner’s Rift Changes

In addition to a significant revamp of the item system and reclassification of mythic items, Riot is implementing major modifications to Summoner’s Rift. Expect alterations to Minions, Turrets, and the Fountain.

Object in LoL Changes
Minions
 • Starting from the first wave of minions, the mid lane minions will synchronize with the side lane minions, with the side lane minions moving at an accelerated pace. However, this synchronization gradually diminishes after the 14th minute.
 • Minions, upon selecting an enemy tower as their target, will disregard any “call for help” signals in order to focus exclusively on attacking enemy champions.
Unleashed Teleport
 • New time update: 14 minutes has been reduced to 10 minutes.
 • The cooldown for Unleashed Teleport is increased from 240 seconds to 330 seconds, but it remains at 240 seconds for levels 1 to 10.
Turrets
 • Champions now inflict damage equal to their combined AD and an additional 60% of their AP.
 • After gaining a plate, the resistances in Plate Rushdown will increase from 0-180 (depending on the number of champions) to 45-225 (also depending on the number of champions).
Homeguards
 • Adjusted Homeguard Start Time: 14 minutes instead of the usual 20 minutes.
Fountain
 • The Mana Regeneration per 0.25-second tick has been increased from 2.1% of maximum mana to 3.1% of maximum mana.
Jungle Plants
 • The initial respawn time for the Blast Cone (over the river wall) has been changed from 5:00-5:30 to 9:00-9:30.

According to a tweet by Riot TheTruexy, the adjustments to minion speed will diminish after 14 minutes. The balance team’s intention is to solely assist the early game without altering the pace of the mid and late game.

In addition, these tower modifications are aimed at preventing teams from falling significantly behind after experiencing a gank, ultimately avoiding the premature conclusion of the laning phase.

LoL Patch 13.10: All Champion and System Balance Changes

In addition, it is essential to mention the impending balance modifications on Summoner’s Rift. This particular patch entails numerous itemization enhancements, yet Riot will also be implementing champion buffs and nerfs. These adjustments are primarily aimed at providing alternative builds for certain champions.

I apologize for the lack of communication earlier, but I feel it is important to provide some context now.

A while back, I began working on modifications for Ivern with two clear objectives in mind. The first was to enhance Ivern’s support for ranged champions, and the second was to potentially enable him to function as a support in the lane. Check out the progress here: https://t.co/q7X1o1G5w6

On May 4, 2023, Blake Smith, a.k.a. @Squad5lol, tweeted:

Neeko Jungle Adjustments For LoL Patch 13.10

Riot plans to make some changes and buffs to Neeko’s kit, as players consider her one of the top and most enjoyable junglers in the game. Although her current clear is deemed decent, Riot aims to enhance her abilities with the following planned adjustments.

Blooming Burst (Q)

 • Increase in Bonus Monster Damage: 30-70 now becomes 35-95.

Shapesplitter (W)

 • Increased Monster Damage: 50 to 75

Pop Blossom (R)

 • The AP ratio has been increased from 100% to 120%.

Ivern Mid-Scope Update Delayed

Ivern is receiving a mid-scope update that has generated a lot of excitement among players. As a unique champion, he has been one of the least played in the game. The intention behind this update is to increase his popularity, but unfortunately, fans are feeling quite disappointed with the changes, especially when comparing them to the adjustments made for Neeko.

Ivern Mid-Scope Update Changes

Passive – Friend of the Forest

 • Instead of causing harm, Ivern refrains from hurting non-epic jungle monsters. Instead, he has the ability to create Groves by right-clicking on a jungle monster, which requires him to expend health and mana. These Groves progressively develop over time. Once a Grove is fully grown, Ivern can then gather them, liberating the camp and gaining gold and experience. Additionally, Ivern has the option to smite the Groves, causing them to instantly mature and release the camp, resulting in the acquisition of gold and experience.

Q – Rootcaller

 • When Ivern summons a vine, it inflicts magical damage and ensnares the initial enemy it strikes for a duration of 1.2 seconds. Furthermore, any allies who engage with the ensnared enemy are swiftly propelled towards them within striking distance.
 • Instead of dashing directly onto the rooted enemy, Ivern has the option to re-cast Rootcaller to do so.

W – Brushmaker

 • Ivern’s attacks will deal extra magic damage when he is in a brush or for 3 seconds after he leaves it. Additionally, nearby allies will inherit this effect for 1.5 seconds and also deal magic damage.
 • seconds have passed.

Rewritten: Ivern creates a patch of Brush that stays visible for 5 seconds. The Brush remains in place until Ivern’s team loses sight of it or until 60 seconds have elapsed.

E – Triggerseed

 • After a 2-second delay, Ivern bestows a Shield upon a friendly champion. Upon bursting, the Shield inflicts magical damage and hinders foes, reducing their movement speed by 50% for a duration of 2 seconds.
 • In the event that Triggerseed explodes without hitting any enemy champions, the ally will receive a shield that lasts for a duration of 2 seconds.

R – Daisy!

 • Daisy, Ivern’s loyal sentinel friend, is called forth to join the battle for a duration of 60 seconds. Upon arrival, Daisy inflicts magical damage and knocks up enemies hit with a force of 0.75.
 • Daisy! has the ability to be cast on targets that are rooted by Rootcaller, regardless of the distance. Within the following 60 seconds, Daisy! can be recast to give instructions, commanding Daisy to either attack or move.
 • When Daisy successfully hits the same champion or epic monster for the third time in a row, she will create a shockwave that damages all enemies caught in it. Additionally, the shockwave will stun and knock them up for a duration of 0.75 seconds. It’s important to note that this effect can only happen once every 3 seconds and starts with a cooldown.

ARAM Adjustments in LoL Patch 13.10

Undoubtedly, Aram is a highly enjoyable experience. However, it becomes even more exhilarating when you select a champion that thrives in this particular setting. Presently, certain champions are excessively powerful, while others seem somewhat lacking. Who will receive buffs and nerfs this time around?

ARAM Champion Buffs

Gnar

 • Increase damage dealt by 5%, from 100% to 105%.

Gragas

 • Increase damage dealt by 5%.

Kled

 • Original: 100% Damage Dealt –> 105% Damage Dealt

Rewritten: Damage Dealt increased from 100% to 105%
